How do the importo Group buys Work?
importo makes it possible for the thousands of buyers who are simultaneously looking for the same product to find each other in our Buyer Groups, and to aggregate their needs to fill a factory Minimum Order Quantity (MOQ), typically saving each SME about 50% to 300% of what they presently pay for their main inventory stocks from wholesale sources.
Each Buyer Group needs to complete the MOQ to activate the deal. When you click on the "Commit to Buy" button on a deal, one of two things will happen: If the Group Deal is activated, you will be able to make the payment for your purchase right away and if the Group Deal needs more people to commit to buy the MOQ, the system will hold the activation of the sale until the MOQ is reached. Once the MOQ is met the deal is activated, buyers will be notified via email and payments will be required. If the deal is not activated at the moment of your purchase, your order will not be processed and you will not be charged for the product/service.You can watch the group buy fill up in your dashboard, track your payments and shipping.
What does it mean when a Group Buy is Activated?

Sometimes, due to changes behind the scenes, importo decides to suspend a Group Buy rather than cancel it. You can check back regularly to see whether the deal you want is back up.
